Mize was a 10-time All-Star who played for the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants, and the New York Yankees. During his tenure with the Yankees, the team won five consecutive World Series. Mize retired in 1953 with 359 career home runs and a .312 batting average. Snider played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers (19471962), later playing one season each for the New York Mets (1963) and San Francisco Giants (1964). Foster was one of the most feared sluggers in baseball from 1969 through 1986, notably as a member of the Big Red Machine of the Cincinnati Reds and later with the New York Mets, among others.
