Magazine cover signed once by Mickey Mantle and twice by Roger Maris. PSA has encapsulated the piece and certified each of the signatures as “Authentic.” The Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris pictorial magazine displays a large photo of the “M&M Boys” on the cover, with each player having signed the piece atop his respective image. The reverse features a photo of Maris posing alone at Yankee Stadium, which he has once again signed atop his image. All the signatures have been scripted in blue ballpoint pen. This magazine was one of several that were published in late 1961 or 1962 in order to capitalize on the historic home-run duel waged by Maris and Mantle in 1961, which culminated with Maris breaking Babe Ruth’s longstanding single-season home run record. The magazine cover is (8×10.25″) and displays as Excellent. This is a rare Mantle/Maris signed item directly relating to the historic 1961 season.
